Cioppino
Local rock cod, calamari, crab legs, prawns, and mussels in a spicy house made tomato sauce – 22.95
HISTORY: Cioppino was developed in the late 1800s by Italian fishermen who settled in the North Beach section of San Francisco, many from Riva Trigoso, Genoa, Italy. Originally it was made on the boats while out at sea and later became a staple in Italian restaurants. The name comes from ciuppin, a word in the Ligurian dialect which described the process of making the fish stew. Please enjoy our family’s “ciuppin” or cioppino!
